8/10/13 Sharing His Word with Sanctified Saturday
John 17:13-19 (NASB)
The Disciples in the World
13 But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. To sanctify means:
1. To set apart for sacred use; consecrate.
2. To make Holy; purify.
Sanctification is the revelation God brings about through the truth of His Word. Christ’s sanctification set Him apart solely for God’s will and purpose. He did this so that others may be also set apart to God by the truth.
Do you want to be set apart like Christ? Of course you do! Well then, what are you waiting for?
Joshua 1:8 and Romans 12:2 are good places to start aligning with God’s will and sanctifying your life. Ask God to show you what you can do to be set apart, immerse yourself in the Word, and be ready to listen. God will move Heaven and Earth for you to accomplish His will.
Have a wonderful day and may God bless you always. Amen!
