8/19/13 Sharing His Word with Meditation Monday

Psalm 1:2 (NASB)

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.

Scripture Reflection:

But his delight (enjoyment, appreciation, thrill, satisfaction, pleasure) is in the law (Word of God, Bible, His Commandments) of the Lord, And in His law (Word of God, Bible, His Commandments) he meditates (think, consider, reflect) day (from sun up) and night (to sun down).

Scripture Application:

1)      Let God’s Word be your recreation, enjoyment, and pleasure; rejoice in it.

2)      Immerse yourself in God’s Word; read, speak His Word and sing His praise.

3)      Transform your mind from sun up to sun down by reflecting upon scripture.

Have a wonderful day and may God bless you always. Amen!

I am a daughter of God, a servant of the Lord, a wife to a patient husband, and a mama of two forgiving boys. God has placed these three men in my life needfully so. I thank Him for them everyday. And like so many of the Lord’s children, I am a work-of-glory-in-progress. I am on a journey to reclaim and renew my life in Christ. It took me 34 years to learn that when nothing else works, God does!

This is absolute “spot on.” If we are to grow in our walk of faith, we need to read and study the word of the God which we profess and follow! Great post, Jennifer…
