8/23/13 Sharing His Word with Faithful Friday
Luke 16:10 (NASB)
10 “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
10 “He who is faithful (truthful, loyal) in a very little thing (unimportant, insignificant) is faithful (truthful, loyal) also in much (important, significant); and he who is unrighteous (corrupt, dishonest) in a very little thing (unimportant, insignificant) is unrighteous (corrupt, dishonest) also in much (important, significant).
1) Solidify your faithfulness and righteousness; be authentic and honorable
- Commit yourself to God.
- Read, speak, and meditate upon His Word.
- Sing His praise.
- Walk in all His ways.
- Transform your mind.
2) From the trivial daily chores to the most substantial responsibilities, let every task glorify God, as if being done for God himself.
Joyce Meyer explained this very well saying, “God doesn’t give power (spiritually speaking) to babies.” It is in that same loving protection, that we would not hand our car keys over to our two year old. We allow our kids to do certain things at certain ages, or once they have proved how responsible they are. God knows what you are capable of; just the same, way we have high expectations for our own children. Let God know He can trust you repeatedly to do what is right with the very little things and your trustworthy nature carries over to the very big things, releasing more of God’s favor. Let Him know you stand faithful and give Him glory in everything, pave the way for God’s abundant blessings to overflow in your life.
Have a wonderful day and may God bless you always. Amen!
