We All Have A Father In God – Happy Father’s Day God!

Long, long before my dad, or your dad – well, actually before any dad – there was God (Ephesians 3:14-15). He is the first Father…ever! As impressive and glorious as He is, God does what most dads do! He loves, cares for, and looks after each one of His children. He Lovingly teaches us right from wrong. He spends hour after hour watching over us from His Heavenly throne. He even created a special earthly dwelling for us – a magnificent sight for all His children to behold.

The creator of all – big and small, seed and earth, rain and snow, sun and sky, stars and moon, human and animal, rivers and oceans, rain forest and desert, peak and valley, winter and summer – the creator of all, indeed!

He is the best Father…ever! Maybe you’ve never known a father. Perhaps, you fear that you’ve missed out. Don’t fret, I have good news for you! No matter what your earthly father situation is – present or absent – you will always have a father in God.

You are never fatherless with God (Psalm 68:5-6, 2 Corinthians 6:18, Psalm 27:10, John 14:18)! God is your Father and boy, oh boy does He ♥ you (1 John 3:1, Psalm 145:8)! God is the ultimate authority – the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8). The creator of all there was, is, and ever will be (John 1:1-4, Colossians 1:16). He is the ultimate protector, our refuge and sanctuary – an impenetrable fortress of protection (2 Samuel 22:3, 2 Timothy 4:18, Psalm 62:2, Psalm 91:11). God is the ultimate provider with an unlimited ability to meet every need (2 Corinthians 9:8, Matthew 6:8;6:26;7:11, Philippians 4:19). Thanks be to Father God through Lord Jesus Christ for our Salvation, restoration and redemption (Matthew 18:14;20:28, Romans 10:9-10, Galatians 3:26, Romans 8:39-39).

He created you. He knows you – every little, wondrous bit of you. He ♥’s you more than you can imagine! So, this Father’s day take time to thank the divine Daddy of all creation – God.

Happy Father’s Day God! We ♥ You!

God bless you!

I am a daughter of God, a servant of the Lord, a wife to a patient husband, and a mama of two forgiving boys. God has placed these three men in my life needfully so. I thank Him for them everyday. And like so many of the Lord’s children, I am a work-of-glory-in-progress. I am on a journey to reclaim and renew my life in Christ. It took me 34 years to learn that when nothing else works, God does!

Great thoughts, Jennifer. In fact, Christians are so intimately close to the Father, we call upon Him as “Abba Father.” Abba has its original roots in the word for “daddy.” No doubt the one and only “dad” is our God and Father!
    Good post…
