Jeremiah 26:15 – A Message For Planned Parenthood – Breaking #ProLife Silence #CallToAction

I need to make this crystal clear: this is not an issue of hating, judging, or condemning people who have an association (past, present, or future) with abortion. This is an issue of warning, Truth-telling, and Light-shining. I personally know (and care deeply for) several women who’ve had an abortion. The heart condition of these women varies widely. Some are haunted, ashamed, and remorseful. While others are unaffected, unrepentant, repeat offenders. Most of them saw no other way. No hope. No ray of Light in that dark closing tunnel. Please hear me – I believe all this ‘abortion business’ is wrong but I don’t blame them. I don’t hate them – I pray for them. I don’t judge them for sinning because I too have sinned. I confessed my sin to God and received forgiveness (which I need daily). I could never make the claim that I am perfect (and I don’t pretend to be) because God is not done with me yet, not by a longshot! The only thing I can ever brag about it is God’s love and Salvation through Jesus Christ but none of that is of myself. I am no better than anyone. With that said, please read the following through the lens of love – this entire post, every single letter, is soaked in my tears.

I can’t help but think of Planned Parenthood in the warning of Jeremiah 26:15. It convicts me.
“Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

The repercussion of silence – of not sharing God’s Truth with a dying world echoes into eternity. Sweet Souls, this type of silence does not benefit anyone.

Romans 10:14 “How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them?”

The cost of silence at the expense of the Salvation of even one soul is too great. Silence is costly and painful and I have been selfishly silent long enough. I mourn and weep for those separated from God as the federally funded killing of unborn babies makes national headlines. Yes, I can call it that because no matter how it’s spun, life is life, and willfully terminating a beating heart is (and will always be) murder. Let’s say for example, during any U.S. court murder trial, evidence surfaces of a ‘consent to kill’ hand-signed confession by the accused killer, along with several accomplice/witness signatures, matching DNA samples, and records verifying every detail of the murder. The simple fact that the confession was signed prior to taking the victim’s life, is enough to indicate premeditated murder – murder in the 1st degree. That would be a slam dunk for the jury – case closed. Why does that not apply here – to abortion? Who (but God) decides what is life, when it starts or ends, and when (if ever Exodus 20:13) it’s okay to kill? Why is life so precious to some and horrifically despensible to others?

For instance, extraterrestrial life is actively sought by science. They spend tons of cash combing our solar system for organisms as proof of life on other planets. While tons of people, for a variety of incomprehensible reasons, completely disregard the sanctity of the living – heart-beating – innocence growing in countless wombs here on earth. Compile that with the most recent allegations against Planned Parenthood regarding the illegal for-profit sale of aborted baby body parts (hearts, lungs, eyes, hands, legs, etc.) and (potentially) partial birth abortions for fully intact baby bodies. It’s enough to tear your heart wide open. If it doesn’t, you need a serious heart check (Matthew 15:19) because it should. I’m absolutely torn apart by the blatant disregard, killing, sorting, and illegally selling of unborn baby parts. It cuts straight to the core of the human heart.

Life, where nonexistent, is deemed precious and sought after. Life, where flourishing in glorious abundance, is snuffed out and discarded like this weeks trash.

When I think about all the people who, regardless of these horrendous allegations, continue to passionately support Planned Parenthood, advocate abortion, and remain unwaveringly pro-choice, I’m beside myself with grief. Why is this the only ‘legal’ killing without trial, without defense? How is it right for one person to decide the fate of another? Especially without, allowing that person a chance to (grow up) speak up and defend themselves. How is it right to give someone the death sentence without a trial? None of this is right. It is not right to kill the innocent (Exodus 21:22-25, Proverbs 6:16-19). It is not right for anyone to take the life of an unborn baby never giving them the opportunity to speak up in opposition. Too many forget or don’t care, that every unborn baby can potentially grow up to speak, think, and act. How is it right to take action against them before they can defend themselves? Where does it end?! Very few people can fathom killing another person, let alone a child. So why is abortion okay? Why is it okay to kill before they’ve grown into something you can’t fathom killing? You hypocrites! How incredibly horrific and ungodly your logic is! So what if it’s our govermental right to kill our unborn babies?! Seriously, so what! So what if we can? It doesn’t mean we should. We shouldn’t. For any reason. At any time. But we are not beyond forgiveness, not one of us is too far from the saving grace of Jesus Christ. God is the One and Only giver of life. All human life is created in His image and precious to Him. Every pregnancy – planned or unplanned, wanted or unwanted – is a gift from God (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 20:18, 1 Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 49:1, Luke 12:7, Psalm 139:13-16 ) and should be treated as such. The world (John 8:44, 1 John 3:13) may cast these precious babies aside but God never will (and neither should you) – Isaiah 49:15-16 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet *I will not forget you*. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands….” The world (John 8:44, 1 John 3:13) may not do anything about these atrocities but God will – Psalm 72:14 “From oppression and violence He redeems their life, and precious is their blood in His sight.”

I weep and mourn for the millions affected by abortion – the decision-making mothers, the practicing murderers, the supporters, the opposition, and the vast array of people genuinely heartbroken by these actions but most of all I weep and mourn for the murdered. We need to share the Salvation of Jesus Christ with the world right now! It cannot wait. Eternity hangs in the balance; the cost of sin is far to great to remain silent. Especially, when Christians know the world’s sin debt was paid by Jesus – the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). The only answer, the only Way is Jesus (Acts 4:19). The Truth is that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, He rose to life on the third day, He is seated at the right hand of God, and He’s coming back to judge the living and the dead. The Life is eternal Salvation offered to all who believe, repent, are baptized, do the Will of God, and call on Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life (Matthew 3:6,11, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:13, Mark 16:15-16, John 3:5,16, 1 Peter 3:2, Acts 2:36-41, Acts 22:16, Ephesians 2:8). He makes all things new (2 Corinthians 5:17, Revelation 21:5). THAT’S GOOD NEWS WORTH SHARING!

James 1:27 “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

The blood red stains of our unborn are everywhere. It’s nationwide news, sides are being taken, lines are being drawn – what are you doing about it? Remember we’re not guiltless; Ephesians 5:11 says, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Are you praying? Loving others? Warning? Truth-telling? Light-shining (exposing)? Repenting? Forgiving or seeking forgiveness? What are *you personally* doing about this? Feel free to comment below – let’s encourage one another.

A Word warning for Planned Parenthood: Lamborgini anyone? I think I’ll pass. Deuteronomy 27:25 “‘Cursed be anyone who takes a bribe to shed innocent blood.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.'” AMEN!!

My prayer: May God bless us that we would be bold enough to point all people to the Rock that is higher than us – to Jesus. May God bless this nation that He would hear our cry and deliver us from this evil. May He rescue all who are afflicted and save all who feel there is no hope. Comfort them Lord, that they may know Your mercy and forgiveness. All of us have sinned, all of us need You God to make us clean and new. May all who hear the Truth of His Word and the calling of His voice, cry out in repentance, seeking Salvation and restoration through Jesus Christ. Lord forgive us and save us all – every single one – because you are not willing that any shall perish but that all should come to repentance. Let it be done according to Your Will my God. Seek each one out, open their eyes, draw them in, reveal to them the Salvation of Your Son Jesus Christ. My God, my Father, forgive, save, and mend us, every single one in Jesus name I pray.

I am a daughter of God, a servant of the Lord, a wife to a patient husband, and a mama of two forgiving boys. God has placed these three men in my life needfully so. I thank Him for them everyday. And like so many of the Lord’s children, I am a work-of-glory-in-progress. I am on a journey to reclaim and renew my life in Christ. It took me 34 years to learn that when nothing else works, God does!
