International Day(s) of Prayer for the Persecuted Church | Bible Gateway Blog

Sweet Souls, tomorrow [Nov. 8] is the second of three prayer days for the persecuted church – our church. Please get others involved and join in praying internationally for Christ’s beloved bride.

Here is my prayer:

God, be merciful and turn Your ear toward us. Deliver us, deliver Your faithful people. If our deliverance is not yet Your Will, then enable us to persevere through our trials and every persecution holding fast to our faith, that we may have unwavering resolve in You and Your sovereignty. You see it all, You know it all, nothing goes by unnoticed. You bring vengeance on our foes, yet You are just and want them also to come to repentance and Salvation through Christ Jesus. Thank You that You love us with an everlasting LOVE. Father, hide us in Your stronghold, shelter us from our accusers. Hear our prayers and come to our aide. We ask this in the Name above all names, the Name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess, in the Name of power and glory by which all authority in Heaven and on earth has been given, in the mighty Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May Your Will be done in all things. Amen.

In 2015, the dates are November 1, 8, and 15…”

I am a daughter of God, a servant of the Lord, a wife to a patient husband, and a mama of two forgiving boys. God has placed these three men in my life needfully so. I thank Him for them everyday. And like so many of the Lord’s children, I am a work-of-glory-in-progress. I am on a journey to reclaim and renew my life in Christ. It took me 34 years to learn that when nothing else works, God does!
